A simple countdown timer for Tiger Dashboard
This is a very simple timer. It has no options, but I've tried to make it as simple and obvious as possible.
- Use the arrows above and below the Hours, Minutes, and Seconds indicators to set the timer, or type in a time using the keyboard or keypad
- Hit the Start button or use the Enter key
- You can switch out of the Dashboard while the timer is running
- When the timer expires, an audible alarm will chime
- The timer will reset to the previously set time
Future work:
- Better alarm indicator
- Auto-repeating alarms
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
